Do government regulatory bodies have access to data on Aeroframe?

Overview

Aeroframe takes user privacy and data protection extremely seriously. By default, no government agency or regulatory body has direct access to any user, company, or operational data stored within Aeroframe systems.

However, under specific, legally authorized circumstances—such as investigations into incidents involving injury or loss of life—limited access may be granted following a formal review.

When access may be granted

Government or regulatory access is only permitted when:

  • A verified event or accident has occurred resulting in injury, loss of life, or a significant safety concern.

  • The requesting agency submits a verified and lawful request through the official Government Access Portal.

  • The request meets all legal and jurisdictional data disclosure standards.

All such requests are carefully reviewed by Aeroframe’s Legal & Compliance Team before any information is shared.

What data may be disclosed

If a request is approved, Aeroframe will only disclose the minimum necessary information relevant to the investigation. This may include:

  • Account and contact details of involved users or companies

  • Operational or activity logs related to the specific incident

  • Timestamped fueling, movement, or maintenance records

Aeroframe does not release:

  • Full database exports

  • Internal communications

  • Data unrelated to the verified event

Transparency and accountability

Each approved government data request is logged internally with full documentation, reviewed by Aeroframe’s Legal & Compliance team, and included in our annual transparency summary.

Aeroframe is committed to balancing public safety with user privacy in every case.

Submitting a government data request

Authorized government agencies may submit requests through the Aeroframe Government Access Requester: https://aeroframe.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/1/create/36

Required information includes:

  • Full legal name of the agency and contact person

  • Case reference or investigation number

  • Summary of the incident or safety event

  • Applicable jurisdiction and supporting documentation

Requests that are incomplete or unverifiable will be denied.
